So the South was graced with snow last week. Did we get any? Not a flake. But I know a lot of people enjoyed it and sent us pictures, so we enjoyed it vicariously through them. Here is a picture that my mother in law sent from their church. It didn't last long, but they were able to enjoy it for awhile.
MK's band concert was wonderful. They have a new director this year, and at first, MK was less then enamored with him. However, she has realized that she has learned a lot from him, and feels that they are much better. He is very organized and has taught them a lot of discipline. It really showed at the concert. They were great!
I forgot to tell you that she also had a wonderful time at the Christmas party. She had so many stories to tell, and really enjoyed hanging with the Big Man. Tomorrow she is getting a hair cut. She has a definite idea of what she wants, so I will be sure to post pictures. It isn't really that different from what she has had, except that she will have bangs for the first time since maybe 2nd grade.
And that's a little update. Have a wonderful night!

Snow... it's a love - hate relationship for me. :)
That is so awesome about band. I truly believe that the teacher/director/instructor can make or break an organization and/or class room. Sounds like she has a great one!
Can't wait to see pictures of MK.
