A different kind of day

Rain prevented us from making it to the Triple B, but we found plenty of things to do anyway. We went to Walmart twice, the library, the local nursery and Lowes. After we ran errands, the Big Man and I went to a late lunch at our local Japanese restaurant. We've been there several times, but we have always gotten pretty much the same things. Today we were daring and tried their sushi for the first time. Not a big deal to many, but we are both sushi neophytes. We both had something different, but they were each wonderful! I have tried it before but never knew what exactly to get. This was the Big Man's first time ever having sushi at all, but I'm pretty sure it won't be his last. Then we rented some movies (Red Box.) We just finished "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and are getting ready to watch "Leatherheads."

We bought a lot of plants and flowers today and are eager to plant them tomorrow. Hopefully the rain will hold off for us to do it tomorrow afternoon. Here are a couple of pictures of what we are going to plant.

So, tomorrow should be a fun and full day. I hope you have a great one too!!!

I'm so happy you tried sushi..it's the best! It's one of our favorite things to do.. I had it twice just this past weekend :) Definitely try a roll w/ eel. Also the spider roll.
