Day 2
Today was my second day with the class. Yesterday wasn't bad, but today was much better. The students are learning that I'm here to stay. One of yesterday's comments was, "They're acting like they do when there's a substitute." It makes sense, because they had the other teacher for months, and he did a great job, but I'm trying to let them know that they should treat me like they treated him.
So today we had recess on the playground, as opposed to the ball field. So here is a picture of that.

that totally makes sense. I can imagine as a teacher coming in, you'll have to put your foot down and let them know you mean business!
