I'll just say good night

My dad called yesterday to let me know that his brother had passed away. It was expected, but that doesn't make it easier. My parents are in Texas right now and will fly to Ohio tomorrow for the funeral. I'm glad they'll be able to go and be with the rest of the family.

We had a quiet day around the house getting ready for our trip. The laundry is finished, and the library books were returned. I'll pack tomorrow, and our flight is due to leave at 6:08 a.m. on Friday.
