How we roll

MK had a band event today, and the Big Man had to work after T. Willy's football game, so T.W. and I had some time together. We stopped at a pumpkin patch at a local church, so here are some pictures.

Busy as ever

I just haven't had the inclination to post lately, but that doesn't mean things have been quiet. MK is busy each Friday night with football games, and now T. Willy has joined a flag football team. They had their first game last Saturday, and while they didn't win, he seemed to enjoy it. Better than try to explain it all, here are pictures!

That's me!! MK and I found this pin quite some time ago, but I just bought it. I wear it proudly because I love being the mother of a color guard girl!

Picture Day

MK and I had pictures taken at school today. Like last year, I took a picture just before. So here is this year and a reminder from last year as well as some fun pictures Maddie and I took.

Siblings!

I found this picture of MK all made up for a show from last year. I may be a little biased, but I think she's beautiful!!!

Game night

We played Spongebob Bingo and had lots of fun. MK may not agree.

Flying by

Time is going so fast. I can't believe it's October already, but I'm so glad that it is. October brings a welcome change in the weather. The nights have been cool, and we've had windows open. We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner twice this weekend and enjoyed the fireplace. Now it's tine to start a new week. I hope you have a great one!

Football night!

We had another great night at the football game. Although we didn't win, we were playing a high ranked team, and it wasn't too bad. The band was great, and we had a fun time!!! I wore a t-shirt, and it actually got chilly, so blankets from the car were great!

My wolf

T. Willy moved up to Wolf in Cub Scouts this year. I love the way he looks in his uniform.

Time to go car shopping.

The car can be replaced; he can't!!!

Thankful!!!

My dad was in a bad car accident today, but I'm happy to report he's okay. He will likely be pretty sore for awhile, but he's going to be fine. So, Dad, if you're reading - I hope you feel better soon!

Weekends go too fast.

We had a fun and busy weekend. T. Willy started flag football and had his first practice. He had a fun time and looks forward to the next one.

I'm it!

There is a car decorating contest at school today. I'm not entering, but my car was decorated anyway. On one side it said, "Tag," and on the other, "You're it!" It was courtesy of MK's friend, and I got a big kick out of it.

Miami

The Big Man is at a conference, and he had a chance to drive to Miami today. I'm jealous but so happy he has this opportunity. He has sent me pictures and updates. I can't wait to hear more!!!

Last step

I've almost finished the entry hall. I'm going to hang these as soon as I get the measurements precise. It will feel good to finish another project.

Goofy golf

Last night, the kids and I went out with MK's boyfriend and his mom to play Goofy Golf. Wow, did we have a fun time! We each made a hole-in-one, but MK made two! One was on the last hole, so she won a free game! We'll have to go back soon.

MK uses my classroom for a locker

Even she will admit from time to time that having her mom at the school isn't the worst thing.

Gangstas

MK and T. Willy posed for me before school this morning. They had a fun photo session.

Scouting and a haircut

T. Willy started back to scouts last night and had a haircut. The Big Man and I went to scouts with him while MK was at band, and here is a picture of him helping T. Willy with a project.

Did you think I forgot? Whew. I've been busy and neglectful. Sorry.

Here are pictures of MK and T. Willy. She is being her pretty self, and TW just got a tool kit, so he was measuring. Maybe he's going to install new counters! I love how he's concentrating so hard that his tongue is sticking out.

Progress

I bought the cabinet earlier in the summer, and finally today we were able to hang it. Okay, the Big Man and his dad did it, and I'm very thankful that they did! My job will be to fill holes and touch up the paint, but for the most part, it's finished!!!

T. Willy has been playing a Star Wars game for awhile now, but he hadn't seen the movies. They are on tv this weekend, so we're watching the first one together right now. Here is T. Willy watching.

My favorite door

I am crazy about this door. It doesn't quite fit the style of my house, so I'll just admire it.

Missing "E"

It's spelled right for the bus company, but we've passed these buses many times, and I cannot get used to it without the "e" at the end.
