T. Willy moved up to Wolf in Cub Scouts this year. I love the way he looks in his uniform.

Thankful!!!

My dad was in a bad car accident today, but I'm happy to report he's okay. He will likely be pretty sore for awhile, but he's going to be fine. So, Dad, if you're reading - I hope you feel better soon!

Weekends go too fast.

We had a fun and busy weekend. T. Willy started flag football and had his first practice. He had a fun time and looks forward to the next one.

I'm it!

There is a car decorating contest at school today. I'm not entering, but my car was decorated anyway. On one side it said, "Tag," and on the other, "You're it!" It was courtesy of MK's friend, and I got a big kick out of it.

Miami

The Big Man is at a conference, and he had a chance to drive to Miami today. I'm jealous but so happy he has this opportunity. He has sent me pictures and updates. I can't wait to hear more!!!

Last step

I've almost finished the entry hall. I'm going to hang these as soon as I get the measurements precise. It will feel good to finish another project.

Goofy golf

Last night, the kids and I went out with MK's boyfriend and his mom to play Goofy Golf. Wow, did we have a fun time! We each made a hole-in-one, but MK made two! One was on the last hole, so she won a free game! We'll have to go back soon.

Even she will admit from time to time that having her mom at the school isn't the worst thing.

Gangstas

Scouting and a haircut

T. Willy started back to scouts last night and had a haircut. The Big Man and I went to scouts with him while MK was at band, and here is a picture of him helping T. Willy with a project.

Progress

I bought the cabinet earlier in the summer, and finally today we were able to hang it. Okay, the Big Man and his dad did it, and I'm very thankful that they did! My job will be to fill holes and touch up the paint, but for the most part, it's finished!!!

T. Willy has been playing a Star Wars game for awhile now, but he hadn't seen the movies. They are on tv this weekend, so we're watching the first one together right now. Here is T. Willy watching.

My favorite door

I am crazy about this door. It doesn't quite fit the style of my house, so I'll just admire it.

Missing "E"

It's spelled right for the bus company, but we've passed these buses many times, and I cannot get used to it without the "e" at the end.
