wasn't there for, you know, our 6:55 flight. So we sat. They finally
made an announcement that it would be another hour, then another
hour. We'd definitely miss our connection, but they'd get us a hotel
room in Charlotte. Then they made an announcement that all of the
hotel rooms in Charlotte were full. So, we could go home, sit in the
Charlotte airport all night, or (the option we chose) get a hotel near
the airport and catch a flight in the morning. It worked well,
because the Big Man works early in the morning. We are trying to view
it all as an adventure, and we're really hoping things go smoothly
tomorrow. I'd better get some sleep. We have a 3:50 wakeup call, and
I don't want to miss anything. Good night!
